1st Birthday Cake Smash вђ Hello Ivory Rose Preheat oven to 350°f. lightly grease and flour two 6 inch round cake pans. set aside. in a medium bowl, whisk together butter, 1 3 cup honey (or 1 2 cup pure maple syrup), eggs, milk, and vanilla. place the flour in a large bowl and make a well in the center. add the wet ingredients and stir until well combined. Turn the mixer to low speed and add the dry ingredients all at once. mix until just combined, then slowly pour in the milk. continue to mix on low speed until just combined, about 30 seconds. scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl and give it a few stirs with a whisk to make sure there are no lumps.
